Our History
Ricketts Farm Service of Shelbina, Inc. was formed in January of 1995 and was formerly Hy-Way Farm Supply. Hy-Way Farm Supply began as a partnership between Ken Threlkeld and C.T. Nugent of Shelbina. Kim Ricketts actually called on the business as a Purina sales representative between 1969-1972 and had great respect for Mr. Threlkeld and Nugent as skilled businessmen. The opportunity to purchase the business in 1995 was one Kim embraced.

Since then, Ricketts Farm Service of Shelbina has transformed into a full-service, multi-faceted business with 13 full-time employees. Our dedicated team provides outstanding service to the greater Shelby County area with a fleet of service equipment including bulk feed trucks, fertilizer application equipment, and modern crop protection application equipment. We also offer grain storage and merchandising to our customers. Ricketts Farm Service of Shelbina is managed by Larry Turner.
